Default Ls460 springs

Lexus changed the part number (spring coil) with an updated part for earlier LS460 models (2007 and 2008). Anyone know what's the new spring coil difference is? Making it softer/smoother ride??

I thought I noticed the 2010 sitting a bit lower & less gap between the body & wheels. Never knew they might have changed the springs?
