My FOB remote for the LS460 sometimes flashes red...what does this mean? Thanks

 

I think your battery is low on your key!

 

It means that it is being interrogated by the car. It is the feature that allows you to open the car and trunk without operating the remote. It only happens when you are near the car, but outside. However if you are storing your key close enough to the car for this to occur then it will deplete the battery in the remote.
