Default My LS460 Vossen wheel transformation

Hey guys I just got my wheels and tires installed. I love these wheels. I have had several sets of wheels in my day and I have to say I am really impressed with the look, fit, and the construction of these wheels. I know that the car would look better dropped, but after 8 years of dropped cars and tires every 8-9 months I have decided to maintain ride quality on this big fat luxury cruiser as well as to avoid shaking up the babies in the back seat. I fantasize about tires that will last more than 1 year. WOW its going to be refreshing. LOL

SET-UP::

FRONT: 22x9 VOSSEN VVS082 245/30/22 Continental Extreme Contact DWS

REAR: 22x10.5 VOSSEN VVS082 295/25/22 Continental Extreme Contact DWS

I am happy with the tires so far. I went with this brand of tires because of the tire wear rating. All of the tires that come in this size have a treadwear rating of 200-300. The Continentals are rated at 540 and have a tread life warranty of 50,000 miles ( it might be 45k ).That is unbelievable considering the size of these tires.

The ride quality did change a little. I would estimate an increase in road noise and vibration of about 15%. The car goes over bumps in the road almost like stock. What this has taught me was that the poor ride quality in my GS wasn't from the wheels as much as the suspension.

Your car looks great! That wheel must've been made with the LS in mind because it is just perfect.

The only photo that makes it look like it needs a drop is the last in the first post. I personally wouldn't do it and risk destroying the perfect ride quality the LS has.

drop for sure with the lowering module on the air suspension models because that is just pimp. But, i think your car looks pretty much perfect!! Great job!! remember, when you drive, the car drops just a little from wind downforce at higher speed

This look right here is cash money!

Great job, BRAVO sir!!! No one dose white pearl better than Lexus, and your wheel choice is on point like a pencil. I think the car look great with a no drop or with a drop either way all you do is win.

Looks really good. I have the same color and i am considering similiar rims from work. How deep is the lip on the back and the front? Is there any rubbing or problems when you have passengers in the back or the baby?

Looks great man, i had the 22" asanti's like the 20" ones you had on your gs. Now i got brushed with chrome lips and you do to just not vossen. I def. am feeling them and esp on the white. Good work!

Great choice in wheels. Those were a strong second to what I ended up with. It was Jav@Vossens fault. I went to the warehouse and he put a CV1 next to my car . All you need now is a little drop.

white exterior was my first choice in color...
now that i see it with a multi spoke wheel, i kinda wish i could have found one...
