the canadian ls460 does not come with sat radeo but does have ml
is there a easy fix for this there is no shark fin antenna thanks

interesting, i thought all ls460 have xm installed standard already and you just need to activate it

but yeah, if you really don't have it and need sat radio (either xm or sirius), vaistech is great. i have done both sat install from vaistech and they work flawlessly. most importantly it's usually cheaper than factory

 

how do you get around the sharkfin antena or did you just run one and stick which i was hoping to avoid doing that

 

vaistech sells an adapter wire so you can utilize the shark fin antenna

 

no the canadian 2007 ls460l does not come with sharkfin antena started showing up in 2008

 

oh you have the canadian spec, ic (your location says ny so i was confused). in that case, however, using the black box magnetic antenna that comes with the kit is probably your only option.

supposedly you have to put it on the outside of the car like the trunk lid, but my clients have asked me to put it on the rear deck and it's been working great too

 

I thought Sirius/XM didn't allow subscriptions in Canada because of Canadian Gov't communications regulations ...Haven't checked, but has that changed ??

yes it was a standard on all ls from 2008

 

u can also try metra for a universal sharkfin. an modify it w the xm ant underneath for a more factory look
