Default Ls460 with air susp

Test drove another ls460 fully loaded that has air suspension today (2007 model). Air suspension is so smooth compared to the regular model. I'm kicking myself for not getting that one. Also I noticed that all four doors are lamisafe on that one vs on mine 08 ls460 o Ly 2 front doors have lamisafe? My two rear door said tamperproof?

No I test drove an LS460 (not LS460L). This one for some reason has Lamisafe on all four doors..2007 too...kinda weird.

When SWB was first introduced, front windows were single pane, but LWB were double, When wind noise issue showed up, one of the solutions developed by Lexus was to replace front windows on SWB to double pane. I believe ever since that, all SWB cars now have double pane windows on all 4 doors. LWB models always had double pane windows on all 4 doors.

yes, i think that's the case, since the wind noise problem the front windows are all lamisafe.

randomwalk, what year did you test drive? 2009 (awd) or 2010 (awd / sport)? i am pretty sure 2008 only front were lamisafe. i am not surprised if all 2010 are lamisafe now, but i am not sure on 2009

but yes, air suspension rides noticeably better than springs/shocks

it's weird..the dealer listed the car as 2007 with 30K miles. it has air susp + lamisafe on all four windows. I didn't look at the window to be sure it's actually a 2007. may be the dealer mis-ID it?

Did it have the extra buttons on the center console for height high and sport/comfort settings?

sport/comfort button doesn't mean it has air suspension, it can be just normal avs. if you see "height high" button that means air suspension.

if it's really 2007 and lamisafe on all windows, i would say it has to be lwb

It has That high height button below the sport/comfort button. All four windows are lamisafe but rear seat doesn't have that foot reclining feature. The rear said ls460, not ls460L. Weird. Anyways doesn't matter. The ride is significantly smoother than my reg ls460.

It may have been built in 2007 to be a 2008 model.
