I need to remove the headrest of my 08 LS460L. Are there any tricks? If I power them up to the top, do I just yank them? Or do I need to remove the seat back?

 

i would like to know as well. i tried to do it (with my ls460l), i pulled hard but the thing still didn't come out

 

Take the seat back off then remove two clips that hold the headrest poles on the power motor.

 

i figured it out......alll you need to do is recline the seat as far as it will go and while kneeling on the seat push it out. it popped right out. then when i put it back in...just slid it in and the motor mechanism just started working...easy.
