NAV update
#16
I usually upgrade mine using a laptop/a wifi-equipped cell phone, a wireless connection with the car and a downloadable firmware image from Lexus Drivers. And it takes me 2 minutes to download the firmware from Lexus Drivers and 3 minutes to install it on the car.
Since the process is taking good 5 minutes, I do the upgrade once a week only. I wish Lexus make the upgrade a lot easier by linking the car to their servers directly and that should be it. But at the very least it's a lot better than what it used to be: only the dealer could do it, and it cost me couple hundred dollars or even more and it took them 3+ hours to do the job!
I wish what I just said was true! Please Lexus make my dream come true.
