Default Radio volume at start-up setting.

Ok, so I let the wife drive the car and when I got into it the volume was all the way up when I started the car. I know on my other car the volume would reset to a preset volume whenever I restarted the car regardless of how loud it was when I turned it off. Does the ML system have this option? Because I know this wasnt the first and last time that its going to happen.

I don't think Lexus has this option, unless it got added in 2010 and I'm not aware of it. Simple solution.... don't let your wife drive your car.

Wow, I guess I only have 2 options here. Dont let her drive it anymore or deal with the music scaring me because its so loud when I turn it on. Well, thats a simple solution. Sorry babes, but no more joy rides for you.

I know on my 430, you could adjust the volume even when the system was off. I found that strange and annoying. My wife would crank on the volume **** thinking the stereo was on but turned down, then, when she figured out it was turned odd, when she turned it on it would be at super high volume.

I don't think the LS460 works the same way, but I can't recall for sure.
