Default Brake Pad Replacement - DIY

I have about 50K miles on a 2007 LS 460 and getting close to a brake job. How difficult is it to replace the pads?

I can't answer your question definitively as I've never done it on this car, but I assume its no different from most cars. Of course assumptions can be dangerous!

I have my own question.

Obviously driving style plays a big part, but what kind of mileage are people getting out of their brake pads?

I picked up a CPO in dec and at 60k miles they were just replacing the fronts the backs stills look brand new. I drive mostly city now so would expect to get closer to 20k miles
