Hello. My name is Jan and I am from Poland. I have an LS460 from America. Every time after changing the oil everything was fine - the acceleration was flooded with Castrol. There was some hesitation after the last swap, but it was no longer Castrol but Motul. It was very annoying and I changed the oil 3 times a year, always with Motul 0w20. The hesitation subsided after a while, so I ignored the problem. A month ago, I changed the oil again to the 0w20 motul and again the hesitation problem. I got very angry and poured all the oil, but I did not break the Motul 0w20 but Mobil1 0w20 the new one in green color. He started to walk well immediately after replacement.! My suspicion about the hesitation after changing the oil is that not all oils like our LS460 thanks to the advanced VVTI timing system. I compared Motul and Mobil1 oil directly, which I noticed Mobil1 is thicker. Is the problem that some oils are too thin and the VVTI system is not working properly and the oil pressure is too low and the engine timing is delayed?
I compared Mobil1 0w20 and Motul 5w30 oil and surprisingly Mobil1 oil feels thicker. What do you think about my idea?
