Hello. My name is Jan and I am from Poland. I have an LS460 from America. Every time after changing the oil everything was fine - the acceleration was flooded with Castrol. There was some hesitation after the last swap, but it was no longer Castrol but Motul. It was very annoying and I changed the oil 3 times a year, always with Motul 0w20. The hesitation subsided after a while, so I ignored the problem. A month ago, I changed the oil again to the 0w20 motul and again the hesitation problem. I got very angry and poured all the oil, but I did not break the Motul 0w20 but Mobil1 0w20 the new one in green color. He started to walk well immediately after replacement.! My suspicion about the hesitation after changing the oil is that not all oils like our LS460 thanks to the advanced VVTI timing system. I compared Motul and Mobil1 oil directly, which I noticed Mobil1 is thicker. Is the problem that some oils are too thin and the VVTI system is not working properly and the oil pressure is too low and the engine timing is delayed?
I compared Mobil1 0w20 and Motul 5w30 oil and surprisingly Mobil1 oil feels thicker. What do you think about my idea?
I am sorry for the errors I am using the google translator.
I greet all owners of LEXUS vehicles. This mobil1 oil has a proven API SN

When I read through all those threads about hesitation, I did see at least several posters expressing similar thoughts, that not all oils work well with this powertrain (even if they should), and that it had some effect upon the hesitation problem. Some spoke especially well of TGMO (Toyota Genuine Motor Oil) 0w20 having positive results. However I also saw others talk about even 5w30 oils working fine. It may depend upon the history specific to the vehicle, how much sludge has built up over time. You might want to read through all the other hesitation threads to see what others have said about this specific topic. Best wishes,
