Default 22'' rims width and offset

hi, i just bought a 07 lexus ls 460L and i'm planning on putting some 22'' rims on them. i searched around to see what width and offset i can go. i seen people putting 22x9 and 22x10 with 35 offset and i seen people put 22x9.5 and 22x10.5 with 30 offset. i would like to know exactly which is true. i'm also going to be lowering my car on tanabe nf210 springs. can you guys help me out. thanks.

i will need to dig up what i had on my 9.5 and 10.5, but i think around 30 was about right. if i am correct on the offsets, those are on the aggressive side. i had to shave the whole rear fenders and rolled the front.

so it depends on how aggressive you want to get. 9 and 10 +35 are definitely more conservative (safer)

oic... now if i did shave the rear fenders and rolled the front to get as low as a 30 offset. how much or will i get a bigger lip? i'm planning on getting some vip modular vr08. in your opinion would it be worth it to do all that to get a bigger lip?

amount of lip mostly has to do with the spoke design, but given the same spoke design, you do get more lips with lower offsets. if you ask me, i say it's worth it to shave fenders for more lips, but that's also more work and need careful calculation including tire sizes to make sure no rubbing.
