Default Hit Tire on the Freeway

I was driving home today from my sister house and I hit a piece of tire on the freeway and crack the front bumper. Does anyone know how much it cost to replace the front bumper? I'm going through my insurance.

front bumper i guess would be around 400 bucks, painting probably another 400-500? it's my rough guess, i don't know the exact pricing on 4ls stuff (and hope it's not outrages)

sorry to hear about the mishap

It should be about $1,000 for a new bumper and spray. I would get a quote before turning it into insurance -- depending on your deductible, it may not be worth the hassle.

Good luck! I had a gravel truck dump a load of rocks on the front of my LS about a month ago. I've had a heck of a time getting the Lexus dealer to perform a respray on my hood that meets my standards. Make sure you see their work, ask about their warranty, etc. Your color is quite difficult to match - so get a good shop!
