This video is a nice public service but I have always heard it is not a good idea to touch the surface of the battery as it might leave oils/salts that might cause corrosion and impede the connection. So, if true, you might want to be careful when inserting the battery.
They said at the dealer, I could have held the remote up to the start stop button and it most likely would have started the car. Good to know if it happens again.
