Default Requesting opinions on wheel selection and sizing...

Current car is 2007 LS460 SWB black on tan, dark tint all around, 19 touring wheels with 245/45 Sport Conti 2, Wald roof and trunk spoilers

I live and drive in Northeast where roads are just terrible.

So I am trying to decide on a new set of shoes. My current thinking is the Work W4S black Polish in a 19x8.5 all around. Picture below. I have not seen them on a Lexus. I will not lower the car. My concern is that they may look small. I am very happy with the 19" touring appearance as the 5 spokes extend to the end of the rim and look larger than a 19" wheel. I do not want to give up the ride quality.

So does anyone have pictures of these on a LS? Can anyone Photoshop for me? If 19's will look too small would going to the 20's with a less sporty tire make for a comparable ride quality?

it will look smaller coz' of the lips, the visual illusion will make the wheels look smaller compared to the 1 piece stock 19s

yep, like henry stated, it'll look smaller cause of the lips, that is why i had to bite the bullet and go with 22" instead of 20"....i'd just keep the stock 19" if you aren't willing to lower the ride or not willing to "firm up" the ride

thanks guys....i didnt want to hear it but you are right! I think if I am going to 20's it will be the Wald M11C Mahora. They will look large and maybe there will be enough tire wall to look good without lowering it.

I think that 20's is going to be to small for a LS460 thats a big car 22's is the best choice . You have 19's on the car now one inch bigger is not that much to give that look .

I propose 21" if you dont want to lower the car. It gives you the choice of using a taller tire hence the ride comfort.

alsilverbullet - Can you give us the tire size and wheel width of your 21" Is your car drop or stock, also can you put a bigger picture up. I would like to see the clearance and wheel lip. Did you go staggered or same all around?
