Will be buying a used LS and was wondering if someone could recommend a good Co. to buy an extended warranty from that would be honored by the dealer without any probs.

There is none.

 

According to the dealership I bought my used LS from, they offer the same as a Lexus dealer, you have to have the signing dealership transfer all warranty work on to Lexus dealer in your area. This is a large Toyota dealership telling me this.

If you are buying from an individual, who does not have a Lexus transferable warranty...you probably have a crap shoot chance.

 

I have had excellent luck with WARRANTYDIRECT.COM. In fact I just bot one on my 2007 LS. (Please note that I have NO affiliation with them other than being a satisfied customer). We have one of their policies on my wife's 2003 Mountaineer and they pay the dealer directly have have had no problems collecting when needed. The only caveat is that in these times there is no guarantee that ANY warranty company or insurance company (including Ford, GM and Chrysler!!) will be there in 7 years.
