Default iPhone and LS460 Bluetooth

I am about to trade my 07 LS for an 09, but does anyone have a solution for transferring the phonebook? I now use an iPhone 3G and can't find a method to transfer the phonebook. I have had 3 other bluetooth lexus systems and on the last one, I put my sim card in a SonyEric. phone and transferred all numbers at once--anyone have another method? I can get my laptop bluetooth to recornize the car, but the car will not pair with it. (and I don't know how I would send the phonebook)

There is no method.

It's not a Lexus thing, it's an iPhone thing.

The iPhone is designed to only work with Outlook / iTunes.

There is no way to send a contact via Bluetooth.

It would be great if the Iphone would work with the LS, I have one and love it. I was hoping that the phone's ipod would work over the bluetooth in the car but we all know that would be to easy..

well.... audi's a8 pulls contacts off my iphone without me having to transfer contacts, so it is supported by the handset and bluetooth protocol and it can be done. my assumption is just that lexus hasn't enabled the bluetooth feature to get that working.

Does it have a factory-installed iPod integration kit?

I just programmed the most used contacts into the the three available speed dial pages in the car. Works great.
