Hi,
Friend of mine justed called to let me know that a friend of his located in Florida has a problem with his LS with mold mildew build up in the HVAC system. This friend was informed by the dealer that there is a problem with this issue. Since I have a lung issue my friend was concerned for me. Anyone hear about such a problem?

Although it isn't talked about much, mold or mildew are a very common occurrence within air conditioning systems, especially in cars whose narrow ducts are a natural medium for growth. Car manufacturers try to use mold resistant plastics for the ducts, however in warm humid climates, it is almost impossible to prevent and very difficult if not impossible to remove, as it is sure to return.
