My 2008 LS460 has park assist and a rear view camera. It beeps when the car comes close to something in front or rear. I have always adjusted the beeps from the nav screen info section. Today I lost my beeps. Nothing! The camera works and the beep setting is on, and the volume is on high. Any suggestions, or could it need repair?

 

Check to make sure you have not turned off the parking assist button located left of the steering wheel. It has a "P" on it.

Sometimes you can accidentally turn it off by casually bumping it and not realize it.

If it is on, you should see a little green light lit up on the button.

 

That was it. I must have bumped it accidentally. I didn't realize that the button was there. Thanks!!
