Default Auto Park Assist in Reverse?

Is there a way to have Park Assist activate when I put the car in reverse? On my Range and other cars as soon as you put it in reverse you get the radar on and for 1 minute after you put in in drive then it turns off. I hate having to push the button on and off everytime. Sorry for such a newb question lol

i am interested in knowing what OP ran into too. part assist you mean those beeping sound to indicate obstacles? mine turn on automatically when in reverse.

if you are talking about the auto park feature, you will have to setup and "approve" it

Keep the park assist activated all the time, and when you approach an obstacle it's going to beep and show how close the object is on the nav screen and on the small screen above the odometer.

To activate it, push the "p" button on the left of the steering wheel. Just keep it this way all the time. No need to turn it off.

The only occasion I turned the "Intuitive Parking Assist" off was in the winter when there was a build up of some ice/snow over the sensors. It doesn't take much to cause them to send an erroneous signal.

I turn it off when going through drive thrus LOL it drives me crazy.... But lately I've just had the sound level on the lowest setting so it's enough for me to hear it but doesn't annoy me when waiting in a drive thru line
