Is the nav system in the LS 460 "Text-to-speech"? In other words, does it speak the street names or just say take the next left or right turn?

 

i don't think it says the street name, but when it's freeways/highways, it tells you

 

Right, the voice guidance says 'next left' etc. but shows the road name on the screen. IIRC, the latest gen. system has text-to-speech for some other function (phonebook?) or something, I've heard it before. But for navigation, it sounds more seamless to have consistent pre-recorded commands.
