We have a new CL vendor that offers OEM chrome wheels (I have them on my LS430). May be worth looking into as another option - I haven't seen them post a group buy yet but their prices when I bought direct were much better than the dealer.

You're doing these as options vs after you have the car already so the math might not work out.

I used forum vendor L.A. Wheel and Tire.

I bought the 18" 9 spokes for $1,300.00 or could have exchanged mine for $600.00. Shipping charges will apply.

Good quality wheels that are genuine Toyota and not a reproduction.

Don't bother with the chrome valve stem covers. You can't hardly see them when installed anyway.

Please check out our site www.lawheel.net (takes you to our eBay store for now) or give us a call at (800) 584-2832. We have these in stock.

We also have the 19" LS600hL wheels in chrome...those would be an awesome upgrade

I purchased mine at the dealer. I paid 1500.00 and they took my original wheels. That was for four wheels mounted and balanced plus tax.
There are better deals now on EBay. I purchased one of the first cars, and that wasn't an option at the time. I have chrome valve stems as well...

Anton (la wheel),

Do you accept bent wheels as a return for the core? If you do accept bent wheels back, will you fix them to "like new" condition? I'm just a little hesitant to turn in my perfectly pristine wheels and get a refurbed (albeit chromed) wheel that may have some issues.

Thanks!

i share the same concern. in my gx the chrome started peeling on one of the wheels, after 3 years, the dealer exchanged it, no questions asked.

I'm more concerned that the chromed wheel was bent (before chroming) and fixed. If the fix isn't good enough and the wheel isn't perfectly round, then what happens? Yeah, and there's nothing more ugly looking than peeling chrome on your wheels...it looks really crappy.

To answer this question: we do accept wheels that are slightly out of round. If they are, we have them repaired to be within factory spec and furthermore, they spin perfectly true and balance correctly. We guarantee this. Customer always pays for such repairs. However, if the wheel has a major flat spot or any structural damage, we scrap it and replace the wheel.

I understand your concerns, and this is definitely a valid one. Most wheels we see are straight, but we do come across some wheels that require repairs (we go through thousands of wheels). The wheels that we usually see out of round is those on older cars (many years on the road) and those with very low profile tires, such as IS300.

So to summarize: we do occasionally repair wheels to or better than factory spec and we will NEVER send a wheel for chrome or to a customer that is out of round or bent. Any other questions you guys have, please give us a call or PM me

My car was so new, I didn't have to worry about bent wheels. I did run into that problem on my Lexus SC 400 years ago. On Ebay, you can find some that don't require a trade in of your original wheels...

We don't require a trade-in either. All of our wheels are available as either an exchange or an outright purchase.

Default Telios Upgrade

My dealership, Lexus of Bridgewater, NJ charged me an additional $9 per month on a 36 month lease. The wheels look great. My experience with aftermarker chrome wheel exchanges is that the chrome bearly lasts a year especially if you live in an area where salt is used in the winter. Nothing like the factory chrome Telios wheels for durability and looks on the 460.
