a lot of dealerships here can get it (i have seen it as well for gs350), but you need to get your dealership to program it as well. can you get that done? (since they are giving you hell already for getting it). it's around 400 bucks i think. also, if you want the physical key as well, you will need to somehow get it cut too, which is more

I don't understand what you mean by " ...the Lexus dealer is giving me hell." If he's not getting it for you, shouldn't it be the other way around?

Tell him if you have to get it from another dealer, that's where you'll be buying your next Lexus too!

Sounds like a possible option...if I had the car I would love the credit card key, no more extra wallet bulge.

I just bought the "credit card" key from Sewell and haven't received it yet....if Sewell can't program it via the VIN (don't know if that's even possible), then I guess I'll have to take it to one of the local dealers and pay them to program it to my car (maybe I can flash the computer and program it myself?)....

don't know exactly what you mean, but I'm thinking I don't need the physical(mechanical?) key cut as I already have 2 of those with the smart fob?

If I'm getting this stuff wrong, then a correction would be much appreciated.
