Hi, I bought the Touring package expressly because of the difference in handling offered by the air suspension and other accoutrements. Quite, quite noticeable.

I liked the lines of the LWB and also preferred having five seats, a full-sized trunk (ie not compromised by rear air conditioning) and didn't need all the gadgetry of the Executive package.

Finally must also mention that when I saw a Touring package hunkered down on those larger mags in the corner of a dealership lot, I instantly fell in love!

What is the difference between the air suspension found in the touring model versus the adaptive variable air suspension found in the luxury package of the 460L?

 

Just looking at the specs., it appears it's the same AVS, just that they say it's a sport tuned suspension for the Touring Package.

 

yup, system seems to be the same, maybe the tuning is a bit different. given that, i wonder if most of the handling advantage comes from the sway bars for the touring package or from the "tuned" avs
