Shifter knob loose
Went on my first trip with the car (only 3 hours one way) This morning I get in the car and the shifter **** is loose. I have to turn it now so it's in the wrong direction to get it tight. I have never had that happen on any car I've ever owned.
I have 3-k on the car and I'm waiting for the first service to get everything done because of time. My list list is growing with legitimate complaints. Never thought I would have problems like this with a Lexus, this one being my first.
For whats it worth it was the first time the wife has been in the car more than 5 miles and she said "is the window open, what the hell is that noise" I say yeah, I think Lex is working on a fix for that. Then she tried to program the Nav while we were driving and......that comment was not pretty.
Never thought I would say this because I really like the Lex but I'm missing my E-38 BMW, not the E-65 new body style........

eh...techinically the nav complaint is not something that can be fixed since its not broken. As for the shifting ****, was it loose before? just keep turning it or turn it backwards to get it in the right position. i think your using the definition of loose very loosely, no pun intended. Being able to move it side to side is not loose, everyone can do that. Its not suppose to be rock tight.
Hmm, it's a first year complex vehicle, so a few problems were possible, even for Lexus. That said, the shifter **** turning around needs to be rectified.
The wind noise issue is something which is being worked on for the LS 460, based on other forum member's reports, we'll see what happens.
Hopefully your dealer will be able to resolve the issues with your vehicle and you can get back to fully enjoying it.
