Default Short Shifter Broke?

I went to tighten my shift **** last night with tephlon tape, it got tight and then started spinning again.

I was confused and then realized my shifter was the thing spinning not the ****.

My car still drives but this seems like I broke the short shifter, I cant tell if a piece screwed into itself or what for this to be happening

Chinese knock off or legit brand?

If its a legitimate "brand name" i'd say try to call the company up and see about a warranty replacement....

if its a Chinese knockoff....chalk it up to money spent, money wasted...."it was good while it lasted"

its a knock off,
I figured out the problem its not broke per se

It's going to spin like this

a shaft was glued in some vibration absorbing material and now that has come undone, Im going to try to silicone it back, scared me for a bit but its just annoying not a real problem

you can drill a hole through both pieces and put in a pin to hold it too.

That is a really really good idea. I was considering how to really fix it to be solid. I used silicone tonight, not sure how long that will hold up.

Thanks again
