Default Cutting down shifter?

I've driven standard cars since I was 16 so I'm used to resting my hand on the shifter all the time. I find that the shift **** is high and not at a very ergonomic angle when I have my hand there and resting my arm on the arm rest. Just curious if anyone felt this way? I find myself resting my hand on the mouse now but wondering if anyone has cut their shifter down?

I thought about the exact same thing, but decided to just leave it. Changing my stock IS shift **** to the GS f-sport shift **** helped considerably and I'm used to it now.

How much is the GS shifter if you don't mind me asking? I was thinking of making that change myself.

I don't recall offhand. I ordered from MyLparts.com and got a 10% discount using code "CL5" which they offer to forum members. You have to purchase the GS shift boot as well because it's the only way to get the plastic retaining clip that pairs with the GS shift ****. Check out this thread for a more detailed discussion and part numbers: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...hift-****.html.
