Default Front Seat AC?

I have been complaining about the cooling feature on my car since I got it. It is really starting to get warm and I am not sure what I should be getting from the from the front seats.

I put the **** all the way to the left and nothing seems to happen.

I took the car to the service dept and they say they hear the motor running.

Is the seat supposed to:

Get cold?
Blow cool air?
Nothing?

Please let me know what is supposed to happen so I can tell the service dept.

Thanks

It is very subtle. You won't feel much. It is just a fan and not air conditioning so don't expect it to chill your buns. Just enough so you don't stick to the leather but thats all.

Agreed with the above. It is not much but it helps a little (same way with my Mercedes). One way that I have found to increase my comfort and make it cooler is to direct colder air (67 degree's) to the floor vents only. This will work its way through the seat.

I personally like the option. It is just enough to keep me cooler and not sticky on the warmer days.

It's NOT "just a fan", the seats have a TEC unit which does produce cooled air, using a "peltier effect":

It is true, though, that it's rather weak and hardly noticeable.

That sounds like a good idea.

I got the upgraded back seats which has A/C for those seats. Not sure how they are. I wll have to sit in the back some day.

Thanks for the suggestions.
