Thanks. That's actually more than I expect. Canada's market for this kind of high end models is maybe 2-4 % of the US market by my estimate, & if the report that USA is getting 1850 is accurate . . .

Just read from an Auto Show magazine that Canada is getting 120 units, & at least 95 of them are already spoken for . . .

Lexus introduces its first $100,000 car
By Bernard Simon in New York
Updated: 1 hour, 21 minutes ago

Lexus, Toyota's luxury brand, is set to price a north American vehicle in six figures for the first time as it broadens its target market to the upper echelons of wealthy car buyers.

Bob Carter, general manager of the US Lexus division, said on Wednesday that the sticker price on the LS600 h petrol-electric hybrid sedan would be set at slightly over $100,000 when it is announced within the next few days.

Loaded LS 460L is what 94k. This car also included AWD and a CVT. I can see a $110 base price and $120 loaded, which undercuts the Germans.

doesn't make sense. all the options on the LS totals over 20k (keep in mind the exec package alone is 8k or so). can't "start" at 110k and "end" at 120k

It can if it starts at $110K but already have all or most options as standard that are not in the "base" LS460L.
Plus they are offering the RSES seperately from the 4-seat with ottoman package for the LS600hL according to a dealer who posted here remember ?

yup, i remember all that. but that's a lot of variables we are talking about. i guess my point was the phrase "starting" price is way too meaningless at this point when no one knows what's standard and what not. so the price tag of 110k or 120k either please some people to scare a lot away
