Default Should I pull the trigger or wait fo '08?

I ordered the Smokey Granite w/Blk interior SWB in late Oct. from my local dealer at MSRP. Each month, same old story...could be in the next shipment, etc. Well, my salesman called me yesterday and left a message. I'll call tomorrow... but noting the time elapsed. It may make more sense to just wait for an '08. Perhaps with option changes, wheels, improvements and less depreciation. Assuming, I could get one in Sept timeframe. Curious what some of you would do? Thanks.

i would get the '08. infact, im planning to get the 08 for two reasons. 1) my car is only 3 years old so its not time for a new one yet. and 2), i want all the bugs gone before i get the car. You never know what they will change, and it usually is for the better. As long as your waiting, you might as well get a newer model. Makes no difference really in your situation. Its not like you need a car now...

Maybe it's time to find a new dealer. I found a highly sought after LWB model in a color combination that everyone told me I would never get, and one dealer had one waiting around for a sale, and it was less than 30 minutes from my home. Inventory levels at dealers are quite high now, so it should not be that difficult to find the model you want with the color and options of your preference.

Also AWD will be an option on all 08 SWB and LWB.

AWD will be offered, according to several automotive journalists who were at Lexus events, however, which model and what year seems unclear...

When I picked up my 07 LS, I asked this question. His answer was, "don't hold your breath. But, it will not be 2008".
