Weight Factor
I'm reading that the LS460 weighs in at just 4300lbs, and the LS460L at 4400lbs. I thought these cars would weigh a lot more judging from some of the reviews about the ride. An "L" actually weighs less than an S550?

We only get the S550 in LWB in N.America & that car is a little larger overall than the LS460L, so not really surprising that the LS460L weigh less than a S550
I looked these up at the Lexus & Mercedes websites :
S550 - Curb weight 4465 lb., length 205 in., width 73.7 in., height 58 in.
LS460L - Curb weight 4332 lb., length 202.8 in., width 73.8 in., height 58.1 in.
LS460 - Curb weight 4244 lb., length 198 in., width 73.8 in., height 58.1 in.

that is so funny...i read something that i thought contradicted with those weights, which were the car and driver's reviews, or was it road and track...on all of the 5 luxury cars.
i thought it said that the LS weighed the most...but i might be wrong
i guess japanese cars are no longer the cheap lightweight econo boxes people think they are. id love to see an LS and an S class collided with each other...not our cars of course
Edit: i was right actually, Car and driver said the LS was heaviest...
