Default Test drove an LS460 today...

So I went to my Lexus dealer to see if I couldn't possibly justify an LS460, kind of a stretch 'eh Anyhow, to my surprise, I find the front seats to be less comfortable then those in my LS. Hopefully the next revision will feature more comfortable seats. That same day I test drove a 750Li (which I actually found to be almost UNCOMFORTABLE) and an Audi A8 which was similar to the BMW. As far as on road manors is concerned, I felt slightly disconnected while accelerating in the LS460, however the ride was a little smoother and the cabin a little less noisy. All in all, I didn't see that big of a difference between the too. With the exception of Lexus park assist, the technology in the LS460 vs. my LS is surprisingly similar. When it comes right down to it, even if I had the extra money, I don't think I'd want to make the switch.

(Unless someone wants to GIVE it to me Then I might have to "settle" for the LS460 )

we looked at the 07s when they first arrived and took one out for a spin,, was not the stretch body,, guess I was expecting something extra special but did not find it,, even the wife thought is was nothing special over our 05,, sure was not worth the difference the dealer was asking for the check to be plus or 05,, we passed,, don't know about the 08s but the 07 we drove I thought the brakeing and steering felt different,, can't say it was for the better or not,,

Wow, its not as comfortable as your 04-06? Hmm....I would have thought they would have made them a whole lot more comfortable...although the LS430 is very comfortable

I actually felt like the front seats were slightly smaller in the 460. They're about half the width of those in my 430, don't know if that has anything to do with the seemingly decreased comfort (does add rear leg room though.)

The thing I noticed is that the rear seats in every vehicle I compared the 430 to (A8, 750Li, LS460, and S600-2005 of course, I don't have 120k) the rear seats were more comfortable and the front seats were less comfortable. Personally, that's not a very hard decision for me.
