The whole "finesse" about these cars happens when you look at them and the attention grabber is the car itself as a whole, not just the wheels. Several times I see GIANT rims in cars and IMO it looks just plain stupid.
hardly, i have seen enough 745 and 750 with 22s and they look perfect. same with 300c as well. i think if done right ls460l with 21s or 22s could be very nice.

seeing my gs400 and sc430 with 20s, i can already imagine 20s might not be enough for the ls460l

I agree. When I see those goofball size wheels the number one thing that comes to mind is how badly they have screwed up the ride, handling, and overall performance of the vehicle.

I think the other thing that must come into play is the style and construction of the wheel as well as the other modifications. I for one am not a fan of anything with 22" wheels and stock suspension, hovering around in the air. However with the proper suspension modifications, and a relatively lightweight forged wheel with custom craftsmanship its a little different. I think the "pimpy" looking stuff is more a function of bad design choices and finishes. A nice clean mesh wheel in 22" brushed aluminum will still be classy looking.

As for performance and ride, my personal car still rides very well with 22" wheels and a coilover suspension.

Have a good one guys

I do think the LS 460l is large enough to look good with 22" wheels and a drop. Its stretching it but I think it will look pretty good.
THough I would probably do 20s. (and that Toms bodykit).
