I think Lexus must be in retrograde mode. I was considering a 2014 LS 460 but it does NOT have HUD available. I had HUD on a previous RX450h and have it currently on my GS450h. I will not even consider another car that does not have this as an option. The market considers the Lexus HUD the best. Other cars are adding it; Lexus is watching from the side lines. Other car companies are also adding all the other current safety features like Lane assist etc. What is wrong with Lexus? They used to lead in this area of technology on cars. For some unknown reason, the radar cruise is no longer available on the RX. When you sit on your laurels, the day of of doom will approach quickly.

 

A lot of us are waiting to see what Lexus does in the 2016 cycle of the LS 460. It is rumored to be the year they will completely redo the car.

They have a lot of work to do...They really need to step up their game.

The point is - since Lexus makes the BEST HUD - why are they not putting it in their top of the line car? It just seems dumb - not at all logical??.

 

LS original purchaser demographics and preferences = no HUD.
