Default new LS WITHOUHT nav question

Does anyone know what the new LS series WITHOUT navigation would look like? Or will the screen will be standard like the GS?

thanks

The LS will most likely have standard Nav, but DVD/ML will definately be optional. I doubt Lexus will make a flagship sedan and cut corners for cost savings, especially since Toyota/Lexus has been bragging about it a year before its release.

Standard NAVI?

That would be an excellent thing to do IMO...perhaps it justifies the price increase...

...if not, they have to have the touchscreen as the non-NAVI GS does. Unlike the entry-level IS/ES which don't.

Actually, offering a navi screen as an option would be anything but cutting corners. Having to redesign the dash without the screen and what not is actually more work, and more money wasted.

read in something that navi will be optional on the 460 and 460L model and will be standard in the 600hL.

According to the mini brochure scan posted here earlier, the navi will be standard on the LS460L and the LS600hL - click HERE

When you guys say "standard" ....do u mean it will truly be standard or it will be an option - but no car will come withouht nav being equipped on it?

Standard to me should mean every car comes with it, it's not an option.

yes, according to the brochure, nav is only standard on 460l and 600hl, so on the 460, it's probably option

and if it's option, then i think we will see something similar to that on the 3gs, where if there is no nav, it's just a big screen there for ac and such

The navigation should be standard since most of the luxury sedans like the S-Class and the BMW 7 also have standard navigation system.
