Hello, I just performed a suspension conversion from air struts to bc coil overs on my 2011 Lexus ls460. I picked up the car from the shop today and I sent the shop these 2 forum post from other threads here on club Lexus ahead of time to deal with the lights on the dash 1 & 2.
when I picked the car up, they claimed to unplug the afs module for me according to those forums. no suspension lights where on the dash or anything related to the conversion. ( I already had my abs system lights on after being towed smh)
but I notice my rearview camera system did not display when reversing and my A/c system wouldn’t come on at all.
I had the shop plug everything back in to normal. Everything was working again. Still no suspension lights surprisingly, I’m thinking the mechanic left the right height sensors in the middle position hopefully.
But now I have this new problem that the camera system isn’t showing the guidance lines or anything, but just displaying this message. I can live with this, but I’d rather have it go back to his normal look. Can someone tell me how to work around this?
could be. If they were to do it successfully, would this message not appear? Have you had a similar experience when converting a ls460 off air struts to coil overs?
I had converted my car at some point and I didn't have any issues. Do you have Techstream to see if there are any other errors present that do not set a light?
Maybe need to calibrate the camera / steering wheel neutral position? Something similar happened to my LS460 when battery was disconnected. Steering wheel was turned at some point and when battery was installed back it went nuts. Couldn't even calibrate it in the beginning. Had to disconnect the battery again and calibrate it once more afterwards.
