Default Adaptive Suspension - Bypass?

Whats up guys,

Trying to help a friend with a new 2017 RCF. I've been searching for days on forums with no luck. So i'm hoping someone can help out. We're wanting to install airbags but we've noticed there is sensors that go into the stock struts. Its part of the Adaptive Variable suspension.

Regardless if you were installing coilovers, or air struts, how do you bypass the sensors?

Appreciate the help!

Not sure, but my understanding is nobody has parts for the variable suspension yet. Maybe your buddy can trade for a standard suspension car, parts are readily available for them.

Technically not true.
I was at a shop in Guam and they mentioned they worked on a '17 RCF.
The downside was it required the removal of the AVS system.

I've also heard from a shop that there is a way to bypass it. Of course they don't want to share the information, but I get it. I'd prefer to do the work myself and learn though.

Default AVS system

You could check with the RC owners and see how they have been modifying their cars. The RC has the AVS and they have been putting bags and coil overs on their cars. I had a RC 350 F Sport with the AVS and changed the springs to RSR springs with no problems. Switched to the RC F for more power.

Correct me if im wrong but after doing some more research. There is only one brand coilover out there as of right now that allows you to still use the AVS. If you replace it with coilovers, or air struts(in my case) you just cant put the AVS cap back on and you leave it un-clipped. It also wont throw anything on the dash since the computer only sends a output signal.
