I own a 2008 Lexus LS 600 HL and I attempted to have the dealership update my NAV system. I was surprised that they said they no longer have the disc and cannot get them to update my year of the car. I did a Google search and found a company called Sigma car stereo. I won’t go into details, but it’s quite the update from the stock system. Check it out and let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks
Just install a module from Hamilton Motor co. You'll be able to use Google or Apple maps on the oem display along with have wired and wireless CarPlay/Android auto.
Any chance you had the GROM VLine system before this? I'd be very curious to know how this compares if anyone has experience with both.
I did watch Hamilton's install video and see that the unit is very compact, and uses the factory mic without the need to splice wires. Also the price seems reasonable, but since I have a working GROM unit I'm looking for a reason to switch. For example, Is the screen image any sharper? How about the startup time, and responsiveness of CarPlay when in use? Can you swipe to move screen left/right?
I assume the Lexus digitized overlay on the screen, is going to be a limiting factor of the interface, but would love to be wrong. If the main difference is the size of the unit and the mic integration, then I guess I will wait until my GROM fails before I make the switch.

I looked up the website. It certainly got my attention. I have a Japanese import LS460 and have been looking at different options for a head unit swap. I emailed them to ask a few questions
