2007 LS460L RWD. It was working before. Now I cannot use the button on the lid (or remote) to close the trunk. When I press the button, I hear the motor is trying but fails to move the lid. Opening functions works properly.
During troubleshooting, I notice that if I manually pull down the trunk lid for a few degrees, then press the button, the power closing function works properly.
Is the closing motor bad? Or a sensor issue?
