So I'm getting this random beep after the trunk is fully opened when using the power trunk, either from the key fob or the button on the trunk lid. Manually open (press button on trunk lid 2x) doesn't beep at all. The sound is the same as if u push the close button on the trunk lid to power close it. Anyone else got this random beep? Carista doesn't detect any error/fault in the system.

I don't see anything blocking it either and everything is working as it should, even the block/pinch detector. I can't make it beep on demand, it's totally random.

 

Is your engine or accessory turned off? Door closed? Key fob in your pocket?

 

Everything off and I've tried with the door locked and unlocked and it's just so random and the buzzer is coming from the trunk lid, not the same buzzer as the door lock/unlock which is in the front of the vehicle.

This is the exact same buzzer as if u press the trunk closer button on the lid. It goes beep then it starts closing, except this beeps after it's fully opened. Totally weird and I don't think it ever happened before. 3+ years of ownership and I'm still finding stuff with this car.
