I had a locksmith use Autel software to program my new OEM Lexus key fob transmitter however after programming, the trunk release functions ceased working including the push button on the dashboard and on both remotes. The only method of opening the trunk is from the master key. The close buttong on the trunk lid is operational.
The locksmith suggests that a fuse may have blown but I just opened the trunk 30 minutes before going to the locksmith. They suggested to disconnect the battery however I noticed a sticker stating the steering might be affected from the disconnection.

Does anyone have a suggestion? I'm in the process of searching this forum for the fuse location specific to the trunk.
