Default Please advise on Nostart remote controlled

Please advise if I should install this Nostart Remote Controlled Intelligent Relay w/Remote - Starter/Fuel Pump Immobilizer.

Website: https://www.mobilistics.com/nostart-...p-immobilizer/

This Nostart will disable your car 30 seconds after you turn off the car, and the car will not start unless you push the On button on the Remote

Please let me know if I should install this on my 2 cars, to prevent theft. Thanks

I would recommend against it personally. Especially with the Hybrid car. Modern cars are computers on wheels and replacing any part in the complex CAN bus chains will certainly give you trouble. It would have to be certified by Lexus before I install something like that.

Theres nothing canbus about this, it is a remote controlled fuse. I read the page, I’d say buy one and give it a go, it replaces the fuel pump fuse in your engine bay. I don’t see it causing a problem unless it malfunctions. Ask them if it has protections to not be able to be turned off when the vehicle is running? Coz I would imagine bit could cause issues if it can be be engaged when the car is running
