Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some help with my 2014 Lexus LS460. I'm getting the trouble code C2151: "Circuit of Front Initiator is Open". From what I understand, it's likely a wiring issue, but I'm having trouble locating the front initiator itself.
I've searched for a TPMS wiring diagram specific to the 2014 LS460 but haven’t had any luck. I even removed the left front wheel liner hoping to find the connector (as seen in other Lexus models), but there was nothing there—it seems this model is different.
If anyone has experience with this or access to a wiring diagram, I’d really appreciate your guidance.
Thank you very much for the information. I removed the right-side liner and found a dangling cable with two wires, so I’m guessing the sensor is missing. I’ll need to order one along with the connector and reinstall it. While checking the part number (8976B-50011), I got confused about whether there are two initiators as shown in the diagram. I also checked the left wheel liner but couldn’t find anything there, so you’re right—it’s only on the right side. I’ll go ahead and order the part, install it, and hopefully that will fix the issue.
I installed a used sensor after finding out it was missing from the car. Now the tire pressure warning is gone, and all four tires are showing pressure readings.
Thanks a million for the documents and the guide. Cheers!
