I have a question on my 2007 LS 460. My trunk latch is stuck in the closed position after we opened up the trunk to put groceries in it. Now my trunk is stuck open and cannot close it since the latch is stuck in the closed position. Any ideas what I can do I’ve already tried the manual key. I’ve done the interior release as well. However, the latch will not open up thanks for any advice.

 

It's gonna take 2 people to do this. Have 1 person at the trunk unlock button on standby. Open the trunk & put a screwdriver in the whole (lock) where the trunk would be latched. Have someone push the trunk button & simultaneously pull downward with the screwdriver. Sometimes it will work by holding down trunk button on the key fob while doing the process. Pulling downward should allow the locking mechanism to slide to the unlocked position. Let me know if this works. Good luck.
