Default Trunk Isn't Working Properly

My trunk won't open when pulling the trunk latch, or when i press the button on my keys, i can only open it by putting the key into the trunk itself. I've reset the lock near the steering wheel and still nothing. Has anyone else had this problem before?

Lexus Ls430 2003. Im pretty sure that the fuse is fine, because the gas release still works, and i could be wrong but i think they share the same fuse.
