After battery charge I neglected to allow ECU to reset before turning off ignition. Now power button won't engage. Have tried several times by disconnecting negative and allowing it to reset. Any help on what to do next much appreciated. Please don't tell me to take it to the dealer, Thanks

happened to me this morning. Disconnect battery for 15-30 minutes. Reconnect battery terminals and leave car as is for 15-30 minutes. Lock the car. Come back after time passed. Hold down brake and try the button a few times with a brief pause in between. Try with foot on the brake and without. Hope it helps.
