Ok looking for some tire recommendations for my 2010 LS460L in size 245/45/19. We bought the car when it came off lease back in 2014 it had a set of Michelin Eagle tires on it. Those tires lasted about 30 thousand miles and I then replaced the last 2 sets of tires with the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season. The current set are the P7 Plus 2's of which I am currently at 29,773. The tires have been rotated every 5,000 miles with oil and filter changes. At the last oil change 3,500 ago the dealer tried to sell me new tires. The LF was 5/32, RF 4/32, LR 4/32 and RR, 3/32". So am thinking of trying something different than the P7's. Looking for recommendations based your experiences.
The P7's are really quite especially if I take my hearing aids out while driving. That act alone cuts out most of the distracting noises where ever they are coming from on a long road trip. No seriously I would like to have the new tires if I change to be at least as quite as the P7's
I love the Pirellis on my LS460. I've had several sets over the years. I especially like the wet weather performance and they even do acceptably well in snow.
However, both my Ferraris came with Pirelli P Zeros and I didn't like them. They lasted less than 8000 miles, which wasn't a big issue, but their perfomance both on dry and wet roads was not the best. I've since only used Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. They are significantly better performing. I see fromTire Rack that what would be available for your car is the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4. My wife has these on her Porsche Panamera. I rarely drive her car, but from memory I think they are quiet. Maybe if I get a chance next week I'll take her car out and report back!

I just put a set of the P7 A/S3s on my S580, unlike my S560 its not a staggered setup, so I could get them again. They are as quiet and soft as they ever were. Hard to consider anything else, honestly.
If you have no interest in racing about like a moron, I’d suggest Bridgestone Serenitys. The ones on my 2012 AWD LS460 are quiet, smooth, handle OK and have lasted about 8 years so far (I do replace them with snows in winter — Bridgestone Blizzaks).
So to close this thread out I went with P7 A/S 3's in a 245/45/19. I bought them on line and they were shipped to my Discount Tire Store in Bentonville, AR. They arrived this morning and they gave me a call and said come on in and we will get them installed. The online price installed with my 5% Military discount out the door was $1001,67. Upon arrival I said I only got 29,581 out of these 70,000 mile rated tires and they gave a tread adjustment rebate of $377.99 so was out the door for $623.68. Driving home with the new P7 3's reminded me of why I went with my 3rd set. Really quite and a out the door price of $155.92 each is hard to beat Thanks for all the input and recommendations.
I have Firestone Destination LE3's. Very quiet and long lasting. Work well here in the Midwest in ice and snow.
I've had Pirelli Cinturato and Bridgestone Quiettrack. Neither were close. Pirelli's were quiet but didn't grip in wet weather. Quiettracks had great grip but insanely noisy.
Best tires i have found are the michelin pilot sport 4, Summer only
I'm running the PS 5 summer and have been very happy too. I stayed with Michelin because of a treadwear warranty adjustment for the Michelin Premiers that came off.
Years ago I was ready to go with the Pirellis, but I couldn't get them. That's how I ended up with the Premiers (probably the worst Michelin tire I've had, incidentally).
the Premiers (probably the worst Michelin tire I've had, incidentally).
That's odd, my Premiers have been fine (and I've had Pilot Hx, Primacy Mx and Pilot Sport 4 A/S in recent years, so I'm pretty familiar with the various Michelins).
