Elate makes a kit, you will need to figure out tuning

Best bet for tuning is probably tunedbyloi in California, not sure if he does remote tuning though. The kits are expensive, and net you <80 horsepower

It's a supercharger. It'll make way more than 80hp. The real limit is your wallet.

The older ford superchargers usually go on the 430 cars, but Elate mfg. is working on an LS460 kit. I would contact them to see how its going.

At almost $7500usd, it won't really be cost effective, you could easily do a remote turbo setup for less.

Not necessarily. Generally an engine will produce 10hp per pound of boost. Depending on the pulley the average supercharger makes between 6-9psi. Of course more power can be achieved through tuning but I would expect 100hp to be tops.

Fuel Injection is fine, but I'd rather be Blown!

Yeah that's not accurate at all. A supercharged UR engine picks up around 200 on 6 psi

You don't need to argue with us. We know these UR engines pretty well.

You're forgetting about intake, exhaust, fueling and cooling mods, just to name a few. I promise you'll reach a $$$ limit before you hit a HP limit.

You don't need any of that, fueling system has plenty of overhead and exhaust is not very important when FI. Intake is the supercharger, cooling also isn't an issue at all as there is loads of space for a water to air rad for the intercooling bricks.

Stock lower end is good for 800ish HP and the transmission will hold 1000+ stock and is used in other builds.

Issue with the UR has always been lack of support, doubly so with the DI versions as the truck versions at least got more attention

I know it's not necessary, but if I went that route I would want a good intake and exhaust setup, which I already have, and cooling will always be important for me living in central Texas. Fueling isn't just about overhead, you still should have some modifications for ethanol, and the type of fuel you run counts as a mod as well.

I'm well aware of the pros of the engine and trans, we've only started to see what these 1UR can handle. I'm really excited to see how mine does with nitrous, then single turbo.

Haha yeah I guess the fuel type is a mod as well, most the major changes are centered around the tune to make sure the car works correctly. An E sensor would have been a nice thing for Lexus to include but they didn't on most of the engines so that would need to be added if serious about forced induction.

I seriously considered a build until I realized a max effort supercharger setup at near $15k would just make me slower than a stock turbo Audi with a tune. So I went that way and have a 800 wheel car instead that took nearly no work

And the only mod was a supercharger pushing 6psi? Okay.

Yes, straight bolt on. It's not 1990 anymore, modern FI engines pick up 250hp on tunes alone in many cases. A FI conversion can be had from ford for cheap and with full warranty even and it bumps power up and maintain emissions compliance even.

https://whipplesuperchargers.com/i-2663-ford-f150-5-0l-gen-6-stage-1-sc-kit-with-powertrain-warranty-2024.html?q=

The whipple option adds more than 300hp

My turbo Audi with no changes picked up 170 wheel and 270 TQ with no changes at all to any hardware. Just 93 octane fuel, stage 4 was a turbo swap and intake pipes with E85 for 740 wheel. Stock was 340 wheel. No hardware changes was 510 wheel.

The GSF/RCF bolt on kits also give that increase, 200 is nothing impressive these days. The 460 has a similar engine so I would expect to see a similar increase

You have a stock Audi that puts out 800hp at the wheels?
