I don't understand how failed ABS pump/actuator would cause U0123 and U0124. I would try to figure out U-errors first, then reset the codes, calibrate ABS and see what happens.

If you messed with wiring, go back and check your work.

There is still a chance you have a failed ABS component but you also have communication errors which are not related to ABS. However, a lot of codes would set ABS code as well but I don't know if ABS codes triggered by other codes would have any changes to ABS behavior as result.

Got it back from Mechanic, all the codes are cleared except C1368, C1345.

Here his notes
"After further inspection notice fluid leaking at the back of the brake booster motor assembly, and loss of pressure at the brake actuator assembly. Recommend to replace both units to complete proper functioning operation"

I looked and there is frest break fluid or oil at the bottom bracket that the brake actuator sits on.

I tried clearing codes and running Linear Valve offset ...ran through test but then the lights didn't flash telling me it was complete.

Any suggestions? is it time to replace the whole break control...

it appears as i was i was replacing carpet i disconnected one of the sensors thst kicked off U-codes. didnt notice because it didnt come out it was just a bad connection.

this cost me $900 in diagnostic time. this was unrelated to break actuator issue

I replaced Brake Buster and brake Actuator (salvage yard parts to experiment). Watched Youtube video of guy replacing these and was able to have my wife pump the brakes as I bled the air out of the lines and tightened down the lines on actuator.

When I went to clear codes to run solenoid offset I got a new code

C1203 ECM Communication Circuit. It won't clear. My brake pedal now goes all the way to the floor with no resistance.

C1247 stroke sensor code as well. Found youtube video on checking voltage on Stroke sensor on Prius

Sensor 1 - .8 volts
sensor 2 - 4.2 volts

I ran Techstream active test and both of my stroke sensors are at .01 volts.

Connection to the stroke sensor on brake pedal seems connected. Where is the other stroke sensor located?

Any ideas?
Thanks for your help.

SOLVED !!! I LEFT ONE OF THE PLUGS UNPLUGGED AND GOT MORE CODES, PLUGGED IT IN AND CLEARED CODES

When I ran techstream I got a bunch of codes
AFS B2412, B2413 B2417 B2418

SRS Airbag B1660, b1821 - seems that something is loose on passenger seat airbag system

Pre collision - b2090

Electric Power Control - U1111

Pre-collision 2 C1a40, U0123

Any suggestions where I shall start?

Thanks for your time

Just re read the complete thread, if you didn't have this problem before you took the carpets and panels out I would just start all over and take it all out again to go over every connector and harness very carefully for bad connections or pinched harnesses etc. You already said you found one connector already that wasn't plugged back in.
If you had this problem previous to the carpet project disregard this, just trying to help.

Thanks for your reply....

One of the SRS codes tipped me off to the passenger seat, I found a plug that was not plugged in all the way...that cleared ALL THE CODES

My horn nor turn signlas are still NOT WORKING.

My horn has been intermitted since I bought a month ago, the turn signals not working are new.

Does anyone know if this turn signal problem might be the same connection problem the horn has has on steering wheel? On one of my other cars I had to take off airbag and make sure connection was good.

Thanks everyone for your help.

So your brake pedal no longer just sinks to the floor?

I assume you got fresh brake fluid with it all?

what’s this techstream brake changing procedure thing in techstream? Is it just providing some critical real time info or is it something that’s required for something related to the brakes?
