LS460 gas mileage
Just bought a used 2015 ls460 awd recently and the average gas mileage on it is around 19L/100km (roughly 12 MPG) with a mix of city and highway driving. I feel like that's a bit high and there might be something wrong that's driving up the fuel consumption that much. I would say my driving style is fairly economical and I don't really leave the car idling much.
I'm curious what mileage others get and if what I have is normal. TIA

I have a 2013 f sport awd and get around 15mpg combined but calculated manually like the above post because there are too many ways to skew results either way using the nav. I don't believe the people here that say they get 30 doing 80 mph, must be doing some special math to get that high above epa ratings, my corolla gets that kind of mileage.
My 2017 LS 460 tells me "17 mpg" on the dash day after day and I have no reason not to believe it. But I have to admit, some of my driving is done solely to exercise the car, by a run at highway speeds with light traffic.

I average 18 on mine, SWB, RWD; combination city/hwy. If I fill up and drive only highway, I can hit 22 or so IIRC. I've only done 1 trip that used the whole tank; that's when I bought the car and brought it home on a 500 mile trip. I can't remember if I beat 22; if I did, it wasn't by much. This was driving through FL, so no hills/mountains. I use top tier premium gas.
On my 2014, I get about 18mpg, IF I drove like grandmother (not trying to claim anything about grandmother's), and drove with cruise control at 65mph, never slowing down or speeding up, I could get around 30-32mpg (I tested this going on a 16 hour trip, locked around 65-70, and reset, after the 8 hour stretch of driving, it was showing 32mpg).
Yeah. 75-80 is a sweet spot, just around 2000 RPM. I'm curious if that "ECO" mode makes any reasonable difference for the MPG on the highway. Never got a chance to test it on the long trip myself. Have no patience. LOL.
LULUMAC, if you’re over 100k miles, spark plugs are due, are both air filters clean, is MAF sensor ever cleaned, tires worn and air pressure? Do you use premium fuel from a top tier gas company. Any extra weight in trunk, how many passengers? All thes things can affect fuel economy.
